My connection to the outdoors—and to photography—began in 2012 during my first trip to Canada. What started as a one-month mountain biking trip to Whistler quickly became something much more. Surrounded by the forests and mountains of British Columbia, I found myself just as drawn to the landscape as I was to the trails.

At the time, I had just upgraded to an iPhone 4, and for the first time I began documenting my experiences through photos and video. Without really realising it, that simple act sparked something deeper—an appreciation for capturing the places I was exploring.

Back in the UK, I was already planning my return. This time, I set my sights on the Canadian Rockies during a two-month trip, and it was there that photography truly took hold. Immersed in some of the most breathtaking landscapes Canada has to offer, I found myself wanting to do more than just visit—I wanted to capture and share those moments.

After returning to Vancouver and spending more time in Whistler, I went home with a collection of images that meant more to me than I expected. That trip led to another—this time a six-month journey that took me not only across British Columbia, but also to Mexico and the United States. It was during this period that I purchased my first DSLR camera, marking a turning point in how I approached photography.

In 2015, I made the decision to move to Vancouver, British Columbia. What had once been a place I visited became home. Living among such vast wilderness and dramatic landscapes, photography naturally became a central part of my life.

As my skills developed, I began sharing my experiences through a YouTube channel, showcasing the locations I explored and the process behind my photography. At the same time, living in a vibrant city introduced me to street photography—adding a new dimension and balance to my work.

Over the years, both landscape and street photography have continued to shape my creative journey. With each new experience, each piece of gear, and a growing audience, my passion for photography has only deepened—and it’s something I know will remain a big part of my life for years to come.
